Homework SupervisionStudents are supervised to complete their homework at our Centre as much as possible allowing parents to have more quality family time with their children. We will also take care of spelling and dictation exercises. Students will learn English and Chinese spelling and dictation through fun and engaging activities. |

Outdoor ActivitiesDeveloping your child’s enthusiasm for the outdoors is absolutely critical for them to lead a healthy lifestyle. Mind and body are two sides of a coin, and it’s crucial that they spend time away from books and computers in pursuit of physical activities that are ideally held outdoors. *Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, outdoor activities are temporarily suspended until further notice. |

The Noble House Character Building ProgrammeOur character development programmes nurtures leadership, integrity, commitment, responsibility among other values in our students. All of our students are gifted opportunities to participate in various extracurricular activities that are designed to nurture virtues and values in them. Although this may sound dull on paper, these activities can be surprisingly engaging and interesting! They include storytelling, where we seek to utilise the power of narration and all-time classic tales to drive home the importance of abiding by principles and core values in life to our students. Examples include Trust, Integrity, Responsibility, Respect, Accountability and many more. In order to pique your child’s interest and engage them effectively, we will share with them stories and real-life anecdotes that revolves around these core values during lively storytelling sessions. |

The Newsroom‘The Newsroom’ is conducted on a weekly basis to hone our students’ presentation skills. Simultaneously, our students will be updated on major current affairs occurring around the world. In these ‘Newsroom’ sessions, our students will take turns to present their perspectives and opinions on any current affairs that they feel passionately about. In doing so, these sessions also yield the added benefits of improving and strengthening our students’ communicative competence as well as their presentation skills. Our students are thus less better-prepared for for oral examinations in the future. |

Art ProgrammeIn the pursuit of academic success in Science and Mathematics, many students have less time and resources to invest in the Arts. We wish to offset this opportunity cost by exposing our students to the arts, as they help to nurture a child’s holistic development, develop critical and creative thinking skills as well as discipline even. Thus, we have implemented arts programmes that encourages students to develop a passion and an artistic identity. |

Holiday ProgrammeWe provides fun-filled enrichment programmes, playdates and other activities for our students during the school holidays. Our main objective is to ensure that every child has an utterly enjoyable time while also simultaneously being able to reflect and learn from the key takeaways of these activities. We offer a wide variety of robust activities that are fun, interactive, engaging and highly educational. These activities could include team-building and physical sessions such as Rock-Climbing and Tarzan-themed Obstacle Course; educational but engaging learning journeys such as trips to NEWater, SCDF or even cinemas for movies and interactive workshops, where our students have learnt to make candy and fruit pies! After a satisfying conclusion to these events, our students take home with them fond memories of well-rounded and holistic educational experiences from our Holiday Programme. In so doing, we hope that our unconventional holiday activities are sufficiently loaded with viewing experiences, sensory plays, language empowerment and creativity crafts that allow for our princes and princesses to explore the true depths of their creativity. We have collaborated with various vendorsus to conduct interactive extracurricular classes on interesting topics such as Forensic Science, Viruses and even Optical Illusions! In these activities, we hope to provide our students with content that is not usually taught in schools. They could even develop a passion early on for fields such as Forensic Science and Medicine, thus imbuing them with desire to learn more about these topics independently. In fact, they could even directly influence your child’s career goals and aspirations. |

Book RecommendationsBesides providing our studentschildren with quality English tuition, we try to facilitate their English Learning by recommending them books with considerable thematic material. Reading allows for children to learn at their own pace and is often enjoyable as it stimulates their imagination. Fictional stories can transport your children to fantastical realms, leading them on exhilarating journeys and adventures to a plethora of feelings and sensations. Non-fiction stories such as biographies or anecdotes will place them in the shoes of actual prominent human figures, teaching our children empathy and the importance of perspective. Here are some books that we have observed to be particularly successful in enhancing our children’s reading ability and affinity for English. |
Inhouse Chinese And English Tuition Programmes
Our classes are usually smaller in size, allowing for our teachers to pay greater attention to each individual student. As such, our teachers will be able to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each student in the class with increased accuracy. Our teaching methods can then be tweaked and optimized accordingly to ensure that our students will be able to perform at the highest level. Throughout the tuition programmes, we will be covering grammar rules, commonly misspelled words, answering techniques as well as an assortment of oral and composition themes. Learning materials such as Vocabulary and Idiom lists will be provided to students for them to revise or refer to in their spare time. Naturally, our students will also have to complete frequent mock examinations for us to assess their progress and performance.
eiMaths
We will be using eiMaths’ bespoke and perfected spiral curriculum to facilitate the growth and development of your children’s creativity and problem-solving skills. Merely understanding and knowing concepts are not enough. Students must be able to connect the dots and apply what they learn in order to solve real-world problems. EiMaths provides a specialised programme that combines the best of both worlds- both Creative Thinking and Problem-Solving Heuristics that helps our students to understand concepts more effectively, acquire useful skills through unconventional activities and solve heuristic problems.
Professional Swimming Programme
Before the onset of COVID-19, we provide invaluable swimming lessons for our students, where they acquire fundamental swim skills and techniques while being under the tutelage and supervision of a certified swimming coach. Being safe around water is crucial as children may accidentally fall into deep water while playing or during any other unforeseen circumstances. Thus, we desire to teach them the necessary skills to survive drowning in any situation. The coach will personally pick up our students from the centre and accompany them to the public pool nearby. After the swimming lessons have concluded, the coach will then accompany the students back to our centre to ensure their safety and well-being. These lessons are temporarily suspended as we adhere to COVID protocols.
Music Programme
Similar to the Professional Swimming Programme, our centre collaborates with established vendors to offer music programmes to our students. Music is a wonderful complement to our curriculum and programmes as it accelerates brain development by stimulating various areas of our brain. Learning a new musical instrument such as the ukulele can also instil a passion for it in our students. They may then even consider enrolling in additional extracurricular lessons to improve their proficiency in the ukulele in the future. In so doing, our students could pick up a new hobby or even contemplate a career in the musical industry if they have sufficient interest. These lessons are temporarily suspended as we adhere to COVID protocols.
